Christopher Montes

Christopher completed his LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was awarded the silver medal as well as ten other prizes, distinctions and scholarships. While studying at Osgoode, he participated in a number of moots, including the Jessup Moot, and served as a Dean's Fellow in constitutional law. After graduating, he articled with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto.

Prior to law school, he completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a concentration in finance, at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business. He was a recipient of the gold medal and received a number of other scholarships and distinctions. He also represented the business school at a number of inter-collegiate business competitions and participated in the Calgary Portfolio Management Trust program.

Christopher holds an ARCT diploma in piano performance and sings with his Church choir.

His areas of interest include tax, constitutional/public law and jurisprudence.
